Phase 3: Baylor/Methodist Community Health Fund

Fund Overview
The Baylor/Methodist Community Health Fund (BMCHF) is an agreement between Baylor College of Medicine and The Methodist Hospital to directly support the medically underserved in the Greater Houston area through non-profit organizations whose funding priorities align with those of the founding institutions. The BMCHF is a $16 million fund administered by the Greater Houston Community Foundation at the direction of the BMCHF Committee. It is anticipated that funds will be dispersed over a five year period.

Application Process (Phase 3)
Funding applications for 2008 are no longer being accepted.  The Request for Proposals (RFP) for the funding in 2009 will be available on this website during the summer of 2009.  Interested applicants are encouraged to return to this site and review the RFP once it is posted. Thank you for your interest.
 

2008 Grants Awarded
The BMCHF announced the following organizations were selected for funding in 2008. The BMCHF awarded 46 grants to organizations with diverse programs in the five funding prioritization categories.
