| The Greater Houston Community Foundation sends out grants to nonprofits solely based on the recommendations of our donors. While some community foundations have discretionary funds to use as they see fit, currently GHCF does not. We do offer several different scholarship programs. We also work with three community funds – the Baylor/Methodist Community Health Fund , the Port Arthur Communities Fund and the John M. O'Quinn Foundation.
