The scholarship will be awarded to an eligible student at William Marsh Rice University. The award may be used for books, fees, tuition or housing. The scholarship is awarded for one year and students can apply every year that they are eligible. All scholarships are awarded on an objective and non-discriminatory basis
Important Facts: - Application deadline: March 23, 2012
- Scholarship awards will be announced to recipients by August 1, 2012
Eligibility
- Is currently enrolled as a student of William Marsh Rice University
- Has maintained a grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale in the two most recent college semesters
- Is enrolled full time taking a minimum of 9 semester hours each semester
- Is an active member of a regularly established Episcopal church
Checklist
- Completed Scholarship Application signed by Applicant
- Original transcript from Rice University
- Two letters of reference
- Typed one page essay
