The Lakeside Country Club Scholarship was established through the generosity of it members, who appreciate the dedication of the employees. All scholarships are awarded on an objective and non-discriminatory basis.

 

Eligibility

  • Is an employee, child/grandchild of a current employee or a child/grandchild of the spouse of a current employee of Lakeside Country Club
  • Current employee is defined as full-time or part-time (with a minimum of 500 hours as of the application deadline of March 23, 2012).  Must be employed for a minimum of one year.  
  • Child or grandchild of the employee or the spouse of an employee must be:
    • under the age of 25 years old
    • a graduating high school senior or equivalent
    • a previous graduate from a public or private high school 
    • a GED is also acceptable
    • Has maintained a grade point average of 2.0 or better on a 4.0 scale on high school studies or two most recent college semesters
    • Plans on enrolling, or is enrolled  in any accredited college, university or trade school as a full-time or part-time student for a minimum of six hours per semester
    • Demonstrates the potential to make a worthy contribution to the community and has excellent moral character

 

The scholarship is awarded for one year.  Applicants can reapply each year by completing the application in full and submitting it by the deadline.  Applications are available at Lakeside Country Club at the beginning of each year.
