As of the end of the third quarter, donors from the Greater Houston Community Foundation have granted nearly $42 million to nonprofits of their choice, many of which are in the greater Houston area. Even in a tough economy, people in Houston continue to keep pace with their grantgiving, knowing nonprofits are in need of financial help now more than ever. To continue on that path, here are the year-end deadlines for money coming in and going out of GHCF:



Now available . . . DonorHouston Online is a powerful online resource to inform, empower and enrich charitable giving in Houston -- with benefits for donors, nonprofits and the community at large. This is a free online tool for the community designed to make the connection between donors and nonprofits easier, more strategic and user friendly. It captures critical information relating to the organizational and programmatic performance of nonprofits and makes it easily available to donors. You no longer need a username or password to log in to view the hundreds of nonprofit profiles. Click on the logo above or go to www.donorhouston.org to pay a visit.
Private Foundation Services
The Greater Houston Community Foundation partners with private foundations by providing outsourcing services and donor advised funds. With GHCF’s assistance, private foundations can enhance their effectiveness and expand their flexibility.
